Mr. David Sockol has built and is currently operating Emagined Security. In this role, Mr. Sockol is overseeing the integrity of day-to-day business operations, developing business strategies, processes, and practices. Prior to building Emagined Security, Mr. Sockol built and operated the West Coast for Global Integrity/Predictive System and the Northern California security consulting practice for Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Paul Underwood is a Executive Consultant & Managing Partner at Emagined Security and has over 10 years experience in the field of Network and Information Security, design and implementation. Mr. Underwood was previously the Director of the Security Architecture assessment team for Global Integrity/Predictive Systems. Mr. Underwood has extensive experience in securing networks connected to the Internet.

Dr. E. Eugene Schultz, Jr., PHD is an Executive Consultant & Chief Technology Officer at Emagined Security. Dr. Schultz is an executive-level information security professional, widely known as an information security and technical visionary, well-published researcher, and a popular speaker. With over 22 years of experience in information systems security in positions involving major management, research, and technical responsibility; including 10 years of human factors/human computer interaction design and evaluation experience; Dr. Schultz was the original project manager for the Department of Energy’s Computer Incident Response Capability (CIAC). Dr. Schultz is the author/co-author of four books, one on Unix security, another on Internet security, a third on Windows NT/2000 security, and the latest on incident response. He has written over 100 published papers. He is the Editor-in-Chief of “Computers and Security”, and was the Editor-in-Chief of “Information Security Bulletin” from 2000 through 2001.

Mr. Earl Cunningham is an Executive Consultant & Managing Partner at Emagined Security. Prior to Emagined Security, Mr. Cunningham was an executive with Visa, Inc., Visa USA/Inovant, Visa International, EC Computer Concepts, AAI Corporation, and the United States Air Force. Mr. Earl Cunningham is an experienced executive level Information Security professional with 30+ years of demonstrated expertise in information security governance and management. Mr. Cunningham is a results-oriented Information Security Manager with notable success directing a broad range of global corporate security initiatives while participating in planning and implementation of information security solutions in direct support of business objectives.

Ms. Deanna Summerly is a Executive Consultant at Emagined Security and has over fifteen years of proven experience in information security and privacy as demonstrated in the performance of security and privacy engineering for various private and public sector clients. Ms. Summerly was the Vice President of Security Consulting Services at Guardent and was responsible for ensuring the success, performance, and growth of the professional services organization. In addition, Ms. Summerly was responsible for overall project management, client relations, services process and methodology development.

Mr. David Lars Chamberlain is an Executive Consultant at Emagined Security. Mr. Chamberlain has more than thirty years of experience in general security and more than twenty years of experience in the field of information security. Mr. Chamberlain has been the Chief Technology Officer and Acting Chief Security Officer for an Internet start-up company, FastFind, based in San Francisco. Mr. Chamberlain was the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture at Providian Financial and designed various security solutions. In addition to various other positions, Mr. Chamberlain also has substantial government and international experience as a career Naval Cryptology Officer working for the National Security Agency and for NATO focusing on all aspects of security: physical, personnel, hardware, and software.

Mr. James Anderson is an Executive Consultant at Emagined Security. Mr. Anderson was a senior executive with Inovant, a Visa Solutions Company, SRI Consulting, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Lexis-Nexis and Deloitte & Touche. In this role, Mr. Anderson focuses on all disciplines within information security from infrastructure program implementation and management to security product development design and marketing. Mr. Anderson’s career emphasizes financial services (commercial and investment banking as well as payment systems), electronic publishing and web oriented, and e-commerce solutions.

Mr. Michael VanDercreek is an Executive Consultant at Emagined Security. Mr. VanDercreek is a PMI certified Project Management Professional and an accomplished Systems and Network Architect. Mr. VanDercreek has specialized in the implementation of security management, enterprise management, messaging, and Internet technologies employing Project Management Body of Knowledge, Rational Unified Process, and Microsoft Solutions Framework methodologies. Mr. VanDercreek’s background in Technical Training has benefited him greatly in terms of team building, motivating technical talent, and transferring knowledge.

Mr. Chris Odom is a Director at Emagined Security. Mr. Odom is ITIL Certified and a process engineering expert and has developed numerous solutions for enterprise clients. Mr. Odom has an eCommerce and organizational insight into security processes, procedures, and planning. Mr. Odom’s experience in the various aspects of security allows him to take a holistic approach to security solutions that incorporates the various facets of information security.
