Symantec Security Threatcon Status for 2009-11-06

On October 13, 2009, Microsoft released the scheduled security bulletins for October.

Eight updates have a maximum severity rating of 'Critical'. Five updates are rated 'Important'. The updates affect the following Microsoft products: Windows, Internet Explorer, .NET Framework, Office, SQL Server, Developer Tools, Forefront, and Silverlight.

We urge users who are affected by these issues to apply the fixes as soon as possible.
